Membership Information

Who Can Join?

Undergraduate students pursuing a pre-health track (medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, psychology, PA, research, med. law etc.) may join. Leadership positions are open to sophomores, juniors and seniors.

Attendance & Participation

Members must attend all mandatory meetings unless excused in advance. Members must complete a minimum number of community service hours AND participate in events.

How to Join

Recruitment will take place during the first month of each semester. Stay updated by following our social media or joining our interest list. If you're ready to be a part of something impactful, we'd love to have you!

Professionalism

Members must represent KGD positively online and refrain from posting anything that could damage the sorority's reputation. Members must strictly adhere to UNC's substance-use policies and engage professionally with peers.

Dues & Responsibility

Members are responsible for paying semester dues (TBD) on time to support chapter activities. Refunds will not be issued after the payment deadline (week after initiation).

Behavior

UNC Kappa Gamma Delta maintains a respectful and professional sisterhood. Members are expected to handle conflicts maturely, support one another, and uphold our values in all interactions, including online. Any behavior that fosters disrespect or harms our community will result in probation or removal.
